Menu Sample

R.layout.single_item

Android Menu types are shown below :

1.Options menu and app bar

2.Context menu and contextual action mode

3.Popup menu

To enable the Options menu, in addition to the code you wrote, we also need to call setHasOptionsMenu(true) in your overriden method OnCreate(). Hope this will help you out.
